Always in me

If you know anyone from inside “the rooms” or any other healing place that helped you by sharing their own experience, strength, and most importantly hope, then we want to know about it. We will be celebrating their life and honoring them during The Hope-A-Thon and Virtual Recovery Walk 2020.

Regardless of their story prior to recovery, many of them were very instrumental in saving so many. They died not even knowing how many lives they affected in a positive way. So please help us in honoring them and thanking them.

They died in victory with the disease in remission, not from the disease in action. They won.

Help us break the stigma represented in television, movies, and the media only showing us when we are in crisis, dying from an overdose, being objectified in a televised intervention, or because our chaos is sexier than our recovery.

We feel that its time to show that millions of us are in remission, living as good fathers, mothers, doctors, lawyers, entertainers, and friends just to name a few. Our tragedies may inspire concern, but our stories inspire hope.

Their story is proof that we can win.
