Kortnie Lynch

nickname- Kortnie

family- I’m a proud mom to my eight year old daughter, Emerson. At home, we share our days (and lots of laughs) with our two poodles, Debbie and Billy.

occupation- Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner. I provide care for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders through my private practice, Next Right Thing Behavioral Health, in Mount Dora, Florida.

personal story- I am in long term recovery with a sobriety date of December 10, 2009. I am a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and have served on The N.O.W. Matters More Foundation board for over eight years, on and off.

favorite book- Anything by David Sedaris, whose humorous essays on the human condition never fail to make me laugh and think.

hobbies- creativity is a big part of my life- I love oil painting, creating charcoal portraits, and I take an art class every Monday. Outside of work, some of my happiest moments are spent doing crafts and playing outside with my daughter, Emerson.

vision statement- my vision is to bridge my professional work in mental health with my personal experience in recovery to inspire change, reduce stigma, and to remind others that healing is always possible. I strive to create spaces where compassion, connection, and recovery can thrive- empowering individuals and families to rebuild their lives, find balance, and take their next right step forward.
